The La Grande Foire à Tout des Andelys is the largest fair of it’s kind in Normandy. Just 20 miles south of Rouen, here you will find an interesting mix of local farm produce, market stalls, brocante (flea and antique) professional traders and families selling assorted bits and bobs after a good clear out.
When and where
In 2017 the fair is taking place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September, starting at 8am and finishing around 7pm both days, depending on the weather.
500+ stalls will line the streets from leafy Avenue de la République (plus some side streets), up around the impressive Collégiale Notre-Dame and in a loop back.
Cafe’s in the town are open for the duration. There are parking spots in the roads around the fair, but for the most relaxing day book the night before in a local b&b or hotel. You will be early to the best of the fair and if you ask nicely, it also sorts out the problem of what to do with your car.
